Brian DeLevie is a digital artist, designer, author and an Associate Professor of Design at the University of Colorado Denver. He has served as the Co-Founder and Director of The Comcast Center for Media and Technology and the Center for Arts as Systemic Change, Chair of the Department of Visual Arts and Head of the Digital Design program at the University of Colorado Denver.


Dan H. Lawrence

Dan H. Lawrence, MA, MLIS is the Director of Library Services at the Community College of Aurora and a doctoral student in Leadership for Educational Equity in Higher Education at the University of Colorado, Denver. His research interests include Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) identity, assessment, and organizational planning and effectiveness.


Jacquelyn Ray

Jacquelyn Ray, MLIS, MA is the Director of Library Services at Walla Walla Community College and a doctoral candidate in the Leadership for Educational Equity in Higher Education program at the University of Colorado Denver. Her research interests are in organizational metacognition, “unlearning”, and critical hope as avenues for institutional capacity building for equity.

Scott Bauer

Scott Bauer is Professor and Associate Dean for Advanced Programs in the School of Education and Human Development at the University of Colorado Denver. His research and teaching deals with the organizational design of schools and colleges, connecting education research to practice, and the preparation of educational leaders.


Diane Hegeman

Diane Hegeman serves as the co-lead for the Leadership for Educational Equity – Higher Education doctoral program at the University of Colorado Denver. Her over 25 years of higher education experience including roles as Provost, Vice-President, Dean, Director and faculty provide a practitioner/academic scholar perspective to provide students with the tools required to serve as higher education leaders.

Jennifer Husum currently serves as the Associate Dean of Equity and Compliance at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado. Jennifer is currently a doctoral student in the Leadership for Educational Equity in Higher Education program at the University of Colorado, Denver.


Erin Hutchinson

Erin Hutchinson is the Executive Director for Finance, Planning, and Procurement, Office of Information Technology, University of Colorado Boulder. Erin has over fourteen years of experience in the areas of higher education administration, budget, and finance and is in the second year doctor of education degree (leadership for equity in higher education) at CU Denver.


Remi Kalir

Remi Kalir is an Associate Professor of Learning, Design, and Technology at the University of Colorado Denver. He studies how social annotation facilitates collaborative, open, and equitable learning.


Janell Oberlander-Haefs

Janell Oberlander serves as Vice President of Gillette College in Gillette, WY. She is passionate about access to education in rural communities, two-year colleges, and technical education. Oberlander is a first-generation student and is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Colorado Denver. She is the mother of two daughters and has been married to her husband, Steve, for twenty-seven years.

Brad Hinson

Brad Hinson is an Assistant Dean and Senior Instructor of Learning Design and Technology. He teaches, develops, and oversees nouns at University of Colorado Denver related to strategic digital-education and technology infrastructure. Brad wears hats in the SEHD, ThinqStudio, and Faculty Assembly – LETTS committee. He is an active affiliate with the Digital Pedagogy Lab, altMBA, Connected Learning Alliance, the Future of Storytelling (FoST), and the Mozilla Foundation. He may be found thinking and tinkering around the interwebs as THiNGkeriNG.


Sabina Sariyska

Sabina Sariyska is a hybrid professional with a background in Psychology, Theatre, Health Care and Learning Design & Technology. In this project she collaborates on the production side of this project.
